Scholars Urge Academic Journals Not to Ignore AI

Regarding the controversy generated by a recent announcement, researcher Paul Novosad stated that much of the academic pushback against AI is uninformed. He emphasized that academic journals will not survive if they bury their heads in the sand regarding AI technology. He views current efforts as a positive, worthwhile first step, but acknowledges that many more changes are needed across the industry.
