Indie developer XFreeze created Quill, a universal voice layer for macOS powered by Grok's speech-to-text. Users can speak and have text appear in any focused app. Quill supports BYOAK, allowing users to top up $5 for about 25 hours of real-time transcription. Currently Grok-only due to its speed, cost, and reliability. Open-sourced on GitHub.
