AI developer @yacineMTB took to X to share his candid experience with different coding models. He revealed that he burned through $20 on DeepSeek in just one week, forcing him to switch back to his subscription-based Codex model.
However, he immediately missed DeepSeek, praising it for actually listening to instructions and not giving up halfway through tasks, unlike other models that often feel evasive.
