UK employment courts saw 39% more claims in the year to March 2026, many written with ChatGPT or Grok, causing backlog to jump 55% to 64,000 cases. AI-generated filings often run hundreds of pages and cite fabricated laws, called 'tragedy of the commons, AI edition' by The Economist.
