Report: Nvidia to Invest Up to $3B in AI Data Center Power Developer Lancium

Nvidia plans to invest up to $3 billion in Lancium, a power developer for the Stargate project, according to The Information.
Lancium provides the land and grid connections critical for AI data center construction. The full investment would raise Nvidia's stake to roughly 30% of a portfolio valued near $10 billion. The commitment is straight equity without construction credit guarantees or lease obligations, meaning Nvidia carries valuation risk rather than build risk.
