- 73% of companies lack a formal, enforced policy on AI access.
- 47% authenticate using personal logins instead of IT-provisioned access.
- 28% skip IT permission entirely due to slow approval processes.
The findings indicate that employees are bypassing IT to touch highly sensitive systems, and governance has yet to catch up.
