Snyk Launches AI Continuous Pentesting as Half of Enterprises Adopt Agents

At Black Hat 2026, security firm Snyk launched Evo Continuous Offensive Security (Evo COS), a generally available, AI-powered autonomous pentesting and agent red teaming tool. It aims to replace traditional annual pentests with near-daily automated scanning. The system features an independent review layer to mitigate false-positive fatigue and was launched alongside Snyk Secrets, a tool for catching exposed passwords and API keys.

The launch is backed by Snyk's State of Agentic AI Adoption report, which analyzed 3,044 enterprise environments and 1.39 million code repositories. The study reveals a strong market driver: 46.9% of organizations already using AI have transitioned to autonomous AI agents that can act independently and connect with company data and tools.
