ByteDance is reportedly training an AI model approaching the scale of Anthropic's most cutting-edge system (referred to as Mythos). Multiple Chinese labs are also developing models of similar scale, with ByteDance being the most ambitious in pushing for the largest parameters. This signals Chinese AI companies are actively narrowing the gap with top US labs.
