Commenting on the future impact of AI, Elon Musk stated that the need for data transfer from AI and robotics is orders of magnitude greater than that of humans, which will massively increase bandwidth demand.
He predicted that Starlink could capture at least 25% of the market share outside of China, potentially generating over $500 billion in annual revenue. Long-term, it might carry more than 50% of global internet traffic, equating to over a trillion dollars per year.
