Dev Ports Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 to iPhone Using AI
ammaar · x · 2026-08-09
Developer @ammaar shared an astonishing AI coding experiment. Without EA ever releasing the source code for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2, he successfully used Fable 5 to bring the classic game to the iPhone and iPad.
During the porting process, Gemini 3.6 Flash was used to play-test the game for hours, while GPT-5.6 Sol was utilized to rebuild the skirmish AI. The entire project has been open-sourced.
