Veeam Joins NVIDIA's AI Security Alliance to Tackle Agent Data Recovery

NVIDIA's Open Secure AI Alliance has rapidly expanded from 37 to over 120 members in just eight days. Data protection vendor Veeam announced its inclusion in the alliance at the recent Black Hat conference.
The analysis highlights that while the alliance previously focused on using open tools for the rapid detection and containment of rogue AI agents, it lacked a recovery mechanism for post-incident damage. Veeam addresses this gap by contributing Kanister, its open-source Kubernetes data protection framework, designed to restore AI workloads and vector databases to a known-good state after an agent compromises production data.
