Commenting on the strategic debate among humanoid robotics companies regarding whether to 'own the brain or the body,' an expert noted that biologically, the brain and body are inseparable in humans, suggesting robots should ultimately follow the same paradigm.

Although some companies currently decouple software and hardware to leverage shared pretraining of foundation models, the ultimate goal for achieving embodied AI seems to be vertical integration of the 'brain' and the 'body.'
