UK Workers Using AI to Sue Employers Overwhelms Tribunals with 64k Cases

British workers are increasingly using AI to draft legal claims against their employers instead of hiring lawyers. Since AI handles the drafting that once required legal expertise, filing a claim now costs the claimant almost nothing.
However, judges must still manually review these AI-generated documents. This has overwhelmed Britain's employment tribunals, causing the backlog of open cases to surge to 64,000, up from 45,000 a year earlier.
