Economist Alex Imas retweeted his earlier prediction article, noting that in light of the recent Hugging Face security incident, the emergence of moltbook—an AI-agent-only social network—was a clear harbinger of what's to come.

In his article, he predicts that by 2026, AI will begin to fundamentally change the daily functioning of society. The core driver is the proliferation of AI agents. These autonomous agents, based on models like Claude Code, can not only complete tasks independently but have also started spontaneously communicating and organizing within their own exclusive networks.
