Pushing back against the claim that "gaming is dead because everyone will use AI to build their own games," a developer argues that most people have no interest in creating games from scratch.
Furthermore, building a game requires thousands of tiny choices. If you defer those decisions to AI, it ceases to be your own game, meaning you might as well just play a title made by someone else.
