Hermes Agent Adds /learn Command to Ingest Books into Skills
Teknium · x · 2026-08-08
Developer Teknium announced the integration of a book-to-skill capability for Hermes Agent. Using the new /learn command, the agent can ingest full PDFs or books to automatically generate comprehensive technical skills.
In a practical test, a user fed 20 open-source crochet books into the agent, enabling it to successfully orchestrate and generate a new handbag pattern. This demonstrates the agent's potential in processing long-form content and extracting specialized knowledge.
