Claude Plays Doom: Tracking AI Decisions Frame-by-Frame with W&B
_ScottCondron · x · 2026-08-08
The author shares a new twist on the classic "Can it run Doom?" challenge by having Claude play the game as an AI agent.
Using Weights & Biases' Weave tool, the workflow records the agent's execution trace, capturing and logging every decision the AI makes on a frame-by-frame basis. This provides an intuitive experimental case for analyzing and debugging visually interactive agents.
