Fintech and AI KOL Lex Sokolin shared an insight into the current profit distribution within the AI industry. He pointed out that in the AI sector, profit margins tend to be higher the further a business is from the end user. However, he emphasized that while this logic seems to hold true, it is fundamentally flawed: the end user cannot merely be viewed as abstract competition among hyperscalers, as they possess irreplaceable intrinsic value.
