xAI has officially launched Imagine Image 2.0 within Grok's Quality Mode, available across web, iOS, and Android platforms.
The new model focuses on controlled image generation and advanced editing:
- Precise Editing: Features a Magic Wand and segmentation tool to modify specific regions while preserving the rest, with support for transparent background exports.
- Smart Resize: Smoothly extends images to any aspect ratio (ranging from 1:2 to 2:1).
- Multi-Reference Fusion: Combines up to 5 reference images in a single generation, reducing manual compositing for complex scenes.
- Typography & Templates: Follows detailed instructions for layout planning with sharp text, and includes ready-made workflow templates for e-commerce, headshots, icons, and emojis.
