OpenAI has filed a motion to dismiss Apple's lawsuit over alleged stolen trade secrets, calling the allegations 'careless, aggressive and oddly personal,' and stating their hardware is entirely distinct from Apple's. Concurrently, Bloomberg leaked OpenAI's actual hardware design: a displayless, doughnut-shaped speaker with a camera and moving parts for 'personality,' built with Jony Ive's studio. It is expected to launch in 2027 priced around $300-400.
