Meta's recent push to promote its new smart glasses has hit a privacy roadblock in the UK. To protect the privacy of customers and staff, multiple venues—including renowned restaurants, private members' clubs like Soho House, and the pub chain Wetherspoons—have explicitly banned the devices.
