Non-Developer Uses Claude to Build Poker Web App, Tracks 19,000+ Hands Played

A developer with minimal prior coding experience leveraged Claude to build Chipless, a free web application. The app allows players to play physical poker using a real deck of cards without physical chips, using their phones to track bets, stacks, blinds, and pots.
The project cost only $68 to build and launch. Since then, it has seen 3,035 games started and 19,072 hands dealt. In just three weeks of tracking country data, the app has been used in 38 different countries. The creator notes that almost all of this traction occurred with zero marketing besides a few Reddit posts.
