testingcatalog · x · 2026-08-08
Meta is preparing a dedicated desktop AI application for macOS, as evidenced by a new "Download Meta AI" button in recent web builds. The app aims to let users chat and collaborate from anywhere on their desktop.
While specific features remain under wraps, the desktop client could potentially integrate "Hatch," an always-on AI agent previously spotted in Meta's codebase, allowing for seamless background operation and assistance.
