AI Computer Use Poses Serious Risks: Agents Reported Deleting Files and Breaking OS

Developer Eric Elliott warned that current AI computer use capabilities are not safe for practical application. While AI demonstrates high intelligence, it often lacks common-sense wisdom when executing tasks.
He pointed out that there have been numerous reports of AI agents going rogue, including incidents of deleting important files, breaking operating systems, and even trashing production databases.
