OpenAI Announces Inaugural 14 AI Economics Research Projects on Labor and Global Economy

OpenAI has announced the inaugural group of fellows for its Economic Research Exchange program. This cohort includes 14 distinct research projects dedicated to studying how artificial intelligence is fundamentally reshaping work, firms, institutions, and the global economy.
The selected fellows will present their findings at the upcoming OpenAI Economics conference scheduled for September. The company is also inviting suggestions for 5 doctoral students working on the economics of AI to join the event and share their research.
