W&B Faces Backlash Over Forced $60/Mo Tier to Pay for Data Overage

Developer Sentdex publicly questioned the pricing strategy of the ML experiment tracking tool Weights & Biases (W&B). He noticed his free tier data was expiring and pointed out that users seemingly must pay a base fee of $60 per month just to unlock the ability to pay for additional data overage.
If true, he called the forced tier upgrade to access overage payments "big yikes," sparking concerns about the aggressive monetization of AI dev tools.
