Claude Fable 5 update: Biology safeguard false positives drop by 85%

Anthropic has updated Claude Fable 5's biology safeguards to reduce false positives, cutting biology-related fallbacks by about 85% in tests. Fable can now assist with a wider range of everyday health and educational questions, though it still falls back to Opus 5 for dual-use requests like virology and toxicology, making it not yet suitable for professional bio research.
