OfirPress · x · 2026-08-08
ProgramBench is a new benchmark designed to evaluate the reverse engineering capabilities of AI agents. It tasks models with rebuilding an entire program from scratch using only a compiled binary and its documentation, without access to source code, decompilers, or the internet.
In the latest test results, Google's Gemini 3.6 Flash achieved the best showing for the Gemini family to date. The benchmark author noted that more models will be added to the leaderboard in the coming days.
