Open Source ComfyUI Node: Adapting MiniMax Video Model for Image Editing
andrew_n_carr · x · 2026-08-08
A developer has open-sourced ComfyUI-MiniMaxH3-SingleFrame, a custom node that cleverly repurposes the MiniMax video model for static image editing and frame interpolation.
The node works by generating a short compatible frame sequence and extracting a single frame. It supports two main functions: Single Frame Edit, which fixes the input image as the first frame to generate targeted edits (e.g., day to night), and Start-End Frame Interpolation, which generates a transitional frame between two fixed images, useful for pose-reference character design refinement.
