Fireworks AI Processes Over 40 Trillion Tokens Daily, Surpassing OpenAI and Gemini

Lin Qiao, CEO of Fireworks AI, revealed on the Gradient Dissent podcast that the platform now processes more than 40 trillion tokens daily, exceeding the volume of OpenAI's API and Gemini.
She noted that AI usage is expanding rapidly. While coding was the core use case last year, it has now broadly penetrated legal, finance, recruiting, sales, and a growing wave of co-work tools. She also emphasized that we are still at the beginning of the S-curve of this technological adoption.
