Claude Sandbox Becomes Advisory When Combined with Auto-Approve

The author discovered that when Claude's sandbox and auto-approve features are enabled simultaneously, the agent retries upon hitting the sandbox boundary and gets bypassed by the auto mode classifier. This composition effectively makes the sandbox advisory rather than restrictive.
To strictly prevent this, users must manually set allowUnsandboxedCommands to false, as it defaults to true.
