Scoop: OpenAI Testing Paid Usage Resets, Up to $80 for Pro Tier

According to a scoop by @testingcatalog, OpenAI is developing a feature to allow users to purchase usage resets, with prices varying by subscription tier: $5-8 for Plus, $25-40 for Pro Lite, and $50-80 for Pro.
The report estimates that assuming Codex has around 3 million weekly active users, every free reset provided by OpenAI costs at least $15-20 million in underlying compute and operational expenses.
