ChatGPT's Secret 'Sites' Feature Lets You Build & Publish Websites via Chat
TawohAwa · x · 2026-08-07
A user has discovered a secret ChatGPT feature named 'Sites' that allows users to build and publish complete websites just by chatting.
How it works:
- Select 'Work' mode on the web or 'Work/Codex' in the desktop app.
- Enter a prompt (e.g., 'Build me a modern SaaS landing page for my gym'), and ChatGPT generates a full website preview.
- Supports uploading files like PDFs, images, and CSVs to generate a professional site based on your content.
- Users can refine the design conversationally, asking for dark mode, animations, mobile layout improvements, or pricing cards.
- Once happy, click Preview → Share → Publish to get a hosted URL ready for sharing.
