SpaceX Generates Up to $50M/MW in Compute, Crushing Neoclouds
shaunmmaguire · x · 2026-08-07
Analysis indicates that SpaceX's revenue efficiency in the compute business far exceeds its peers, generating between $30 million and $50 million in annualized revenue per megawatt (MW) of compute capacity. In contrast, pure-play neoclouds like CoreWeave and Nebius sit at $9.4M to $10.4M per MW, while traditional colocation players like Equinix trail at $3.5M to $4.4M.
Investor Shaun Maguire argues that as the world's premier hardware execution company, SpaceX will completely outpace emerging neoclouds in the AI infrastructure sector.
