The author points out a common industry illusion: assuming that "I can build this in an hour with AI" equates to creating a real business.
In reality, while AI can help you rapidly write code and stitch together a UI, that is not a business. The true challenge of a startup lies in finding your first 100 customers, talking to them to learn about their actual problems, and incorporating that feedback into the product. These core business operations cannot be done by AI in an hour.
