Startup Malachyte, founded by three former Spotify employees, has raised a $10 million seed round.
The team previously built the behavioral intelligence infrastructure powering Spotify's recommendation engine. Their new venture aims to introduce this AI system—which predicts user intent and next actions rather than relying solely on past behavior—into the e-commerce sector, moving beyond traditional history-based personalization to optimize the experience for first-time visitors and existing shoppers alike.
