Cathie Wood highlights that AI-driven agentic commerce is significantly benefiting the long tail of Shopify's merchants. Data reveals a 3x year-over-year increase in both AI traffic to merchants and orders generated from AI search.
Additionally, Shopify's AI assistant, Sidekick, has logged 34 million conversations, with daily active merchants up 3.6x YoY. AI searches powered by Shopify's catalog convert 2x better than those using scraped data, and 75% of AI-attributed orders come from outside the top 100 categories.
