One-Shot Hardware with AI: ESP32 to Disrupt Traditional SaaS
churchkey · x · 2026-08-07
A developer shared their experience using AI alongside ESP32 boards for hardware development. They highlighted that combining AI with standard hardware like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32 allows creators to simply describe what they want, and AI will generate the code to make it happen.
Using the digital signage industry as an example, they pointed out a market saturated with expensive, subscription-based, low-quality products. With a $40 ESP32 board and AI, users can easily build their own conference room signage solutions. This low-barrier approach is expected to seriously disrupt crappy traditional SaaS providers.
