Ex-Google Brain Intern: Companies Fall, Knowledge Lasts

Science is an enterprise spanning thousands of years, relying on the recording and safeguarding of knowledge. Even if today's "frontier labs" become obsolete, the knowledge spread through papers, open-source code, and preservation mechanisms will outlast corporate lifespans and institutional collapses.
