Adapt-1's Pretraining-Free Test-Time Learning Faces Skepticism

Rei Labs has introduced Adapt-1 Preview (Δ1), a pretraining-free substrate designed for test-time learning. It can learn from scored feedback while actively performing tasks, with initial results demonstrated across robot perception, spatial reasoning, and games.
However, the announcement has drawn skepticism within the AI community. Commenter teortaxesTex called bullshit on the claims, likening the concept to the "Web3 of AGI" and implying it is overhyped.
