DeepSeek Invests 140M RMB in Unitree Robotics to Advance Embodied AI Integration

Unitree Robotics recently announced the strategic placement results for its STAR Market IPO, revealing that DeepSeek (the parent company of the AI model firm) invested approximately 141 million RMB for a 2.31% stake. This move marks a deep capital and industrial alignment between leading AI model and embodied intelligence companies.
The two companies will jointly advance R&D in embodied intelligence, combining large models with humanoid robots. Unitree will prioritize DeepSeek for robotic hardware solutions, while DeepSeek will provide technical support in model architecture and computing clusters.
Additionally, the IPO prospectus disclosed DeepSeek's ownership structure, revealing that founder Liang Wenfeng maintains absolute control with a combined 99.7207% equity stake.
