Quill: Open-Source macOS Dictation App Powered by Grok Subscription
XFreeze · x · 2026-08-07
Developer XFreeze released Quill, an open-source macOS tool that enables system-wide voice dictation. Spoken words are directly appended to whatever input field is currently in focus, without interfering with the clipboard.
The app leverages Grok's speech-to-text capabilities. Users do not need to purchase a separate API key or worry about metered usage; it works entirely through an existing Grok subscription.
