According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the first AI device from OpenAI and former Apple designer Jony Ive is essentially a screenless smart speaker. Battery-powered and doughnut-shaped, the device is roughly the size of a hockey puck and is expected to launch in 2027 with a price tag exceeding $300.
The gadget will feature a unique look with moving parts, lights, a camera system, and other sensors. It is designed to be easily carried around the home and aims to interact with users in entirely new ways.
