OpenAI Launches GPT-5.6, Grants Free Users Unlimited Text Chat

OpenAI announced a ChatGPT upgrade: Plus and Pro users now have both Instant and deep reasoning powered by GPT-5.6 Sol for more factual and focused responses.
Starting tomorrow, Free and Go users will get unlimited text chats using GPT-5.6 Luna. Sam Altman noted that the 5.6 Sol model is significantly better in chat now.
