OpenAI Ships 5.6 Sol and Luna Models, Unlocks Unlimited Chats for Free Users

OpenAI announced the rollout of updated 5.6 Sol and 5.6 Luna models to Plus/Pro and Free/Go users. The new versions unify the instant experience and maximum intelligence into a single model, allowing users to adjust a slider to trade off between speed and comprehensiveness.
Additionally, the company unlocked unlimited text chats for free users and introduced a new "Think" button to grant them access to higher reasoning capabilities, pushing towards the goal of making intelligence too cheap to meter.
