In an interview, immunologist DeryaTR shared that she gave GPT-5 Pro a dataset her lab couldn't crack since 2022, and it found the mechanism in 18 minutes. She predicts AI doctors will arrive next year, better than the best specialists, and that 99% of diseases, including cancer, will become treatable within a decade. She also predicts self-driving will reduce US road deaths from 50,000 to zero.
