Google DeepMind VP Oriol Vinyals Leaves to Start Discovery Loop

Oriol Vinyals, VP of Research and Gemini Technical Lead at Google DeepMind, announced his departure after 13 years.
He is leaving to build a new venture called Discovery Loop, alongside Google legends Jeff Dean, Quoc Le, and Sanjay Ghemawat. Vinyals previously co-led major AI projects like AlphaStar.
