Amplitude Shares AI Bug-Fixing Workflow: Automated Agents and Risk-Scored Approvals

TansuYegen · x · 2026-08-07

Amplitude detailed their engineering practice of using AI agents for bug-fixing loops. The workflow includes agents shipping fixes within minutes of a bug being reported in Slack, converting one-off fixes into a system that remembers past bugs, and replacing manual reviews with risk-scored auto-approvals. They emphasized that automation doesn't substitute for testing hygiene.

To promote this approach, the team released an ebook titled Falling in Love with Loops and built a creative 3D interactive webpage using Blender and Three.js. Designed as a teenage bedroom, users can walk around the room, click to read the book, and find a hidden game inside the TV.
