Elon Musk: AI Already Codes Better Than 90% of Engineers, Will Reach 99%

Elon Musk recently stated that in software engineering, AI is currently better than at least 90% of professional software engineers at writing code.
He further predicted that AI's coding capabilities will soon surpass 99% of human engineers. Once that point is reached, humans will have no way to compete in software development.
