OpenAI announced a major upgrade to ChatGPT's underlying models. For Plus and Pro users, both Instant and deep reasoning are now powered by GPT-5.6 Sol, designed to deliver more factual and focused responses.
Additionally, Free and Go users will get unlimited text chats with GPT-5.6 Luna starting tomorrow.
